About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Leader to join our team at Hewlett Packard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business innovation through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively review technical literature and stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and technologies to align with our Data Science leaders.
  • Work with Data Science leaders to develop innovative solutions to existing or new business challenges.
  • Identify business needs, align with key stakeholders, and organize analytics teams to seamlessly connect model findings to business strategy.
  • Define and implement models to uncover patterns and predictions, creating business value and innovation.
  • Lead complex cross-organizational projects, involving multiple Data Scientists, and provide guidance, training, and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Directors, and Executive-level stakeholders to develop clear presentations for senior decision makers.
  • Manage relationships with business partners to evaluate and foster data-driven innovation and provide domain-specific expertise in cross-organization projects.
  • Support people leaders with skills assessment, feedback, and hiring criteria.
  • Maintain proficiency within the data science domain by keeping up with technology and trend shifts.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience using statistics, mathematics, algorithms, and programming languages to solve business problems.
  • Experience in test design and measurement, customer segmentation, cleanroom technology, MTA, and MMM.
  • Ability to define and create complex models to pull valuable insights, predictions, and innovation from data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate data insights and negotiate options at senior management levels.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Typically, 6-10 years of relevant work experience.
