Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Skyworks. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install new equipment and evaluate its functionality to ensure optimal performance.
  • Process Improvement: Develop procedures, manuals, and documents to describe and improve processes, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Prepare daily and weekly maintenance activity reports, and track metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain support for equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement tactical day-to-day and long-term strategies aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead maintenance engineers to ensure high equipment availability and implement action plans to improve downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 6 years of experience in maintenance areas, with a focus on automation and control systems.
  • Skills: Effective collaboration, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Language: English (80% written and spoken).
  • Visa Requirements: Valid US Visa to travel.
Technical Competencies
  • Computer Equipment and Systems Management: Knowledge of computer equipment and systems, including automation and control systems.
  • Automation and Control Systems: Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and electromechanical elements.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
