The Red Hat Consulting Services team is seeking a skilled Technical Project Management Expert with significant experience in project management, emphasizing the public sector.

As a project manager, you will work to understand the business needs of our customers, make recommendations to resolve their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.

In addition to executing projects on time, you will build trusting relationships with the customer to open new business opportunities for Red Hat.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish the resources and timelines required for project execution.
  • Develop and refine the project plan.
  • Define and verify the quality standards for project deliverables.
  • Lead the project team and maintain their motivation.
  • Monitor project tasks to identify deviations from objectives.
  • Anticipate and manage project-related risks.
  • Control and invoice project milestones and deliverables on time.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional communication, deep troubleshooting, and existing knowledge.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and escalate risks and problems in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Engineering background (graduated) with 6+ years of general experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager, particularly in the Public Sector.
  • PMI PMP certification or certification in agile methodologies is desirable.
  • Strong budget management and financial control skills.
  • Proficiency in agile project planning tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Upper intermediate-advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and high-performance environment.
