Job Summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that meet our universal and site-specific automation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers to ensure successful automation implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for automation improvement.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools and methods to facilitate automation efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing industry using tools such as MS Project and/or Smartsheet.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics.
  • PMP project management certification preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Occasional travel may be required.
