Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Buyer to join our team at Placas Termodinámicas, S.de R.L de C.V. in Mexico. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and managing supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Planning: Determine material requirements from production schedules and prepare purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to improve delivery, quality, and reduce costs.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future opportunities/threats and prepare action plans.
- Problem Solving: Review potential shortages and expedite delivery of goods, and notify production control of unavoidable shortages.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
- Education: College degree in Business or Engineering.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent organization and communication skills.
- Language: Bilingual.
