Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain product specifications, including technical information, cost information, customer information, and supplier information.
- Work with product managers, designers, supply chain personnel, and product engineers to properly specify products for purchase and manufacture.
- Create sales drawings, fabrication work packages, and support supply chain teams with estimates and technical descriptions to suppliers.
- Develop drafting and design tools to support improved product performance, cost, specification, sales, and fabrication work package generation.
- Support sales, other business units, and customers with drafting and design support, as well as product expertise.
- Review customer and industry specifications, and work within ERP systems to ensure that all engineering data is up-to-date for specific product lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
- At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience, with a demonstrated record of success working within an engineered products and systems business.
- Experience working with global teams, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial type industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactive, diverse, and inclusive organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving, quantitative, and business analysis skills, as well as mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting.
Knowledge of fabrication drafting and mechanical design applied to Ai.
