Lead Cyber Security Solutions Engineer

Overview of the Position
This role is pivotal in delivering top-tier solutions across various cyber security domains, which encompass threat detection, cyber threat intelligence, network protection, incident management, insider threat mitigation, defensive engineering, vulnerability assessment, and reduction of attack surfaces.
The position emphasizes ongoing enhancement of critical cyber defense capabilities by optimizing technology acquisition and deployment, engineering innovative solutions, and instituting processes that boost efficiency, elevate performance, and minimize risk.
The incumbent will implement cyber security strategies, activities, and policies designed to safeguard Thomson Reuters' information infrastructure, clientele, and products. This role also contributes to the advancement of cyber defense capabilities, upholds organizational security standards, and adheres to industry best practices while demonstrating effective resource management.
The individual will work autonomously or collaboratively within project teams to establish security measures, monitor and address threats, fine-tune security appliances, liaise with enterprise information services, engage with product teams, and perform other related tasks within cyber defense and cyber fusion centers.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Cyber Security Platform Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, particularly in Administration, Security Tools, and Threat Intelligence Platforms.
- Familiarity and demonstrated expertise with AWS.
- Proficient in Python and Linux.
- Experience in managing cybersecurity tools.
- Skills in troubleshooting and supporting the integration and automation of process workflows.
- Knowledge of MISP and Confluence.
