Eaton's VEH EMB eMobility division is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a talented engineer to design, validate, implement, and sustain test systems, including documentation, training, and statistical process control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical test engineering and automation, with experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Optimize test processes to meet customer demand, quality, product specifications, and safety requirements, ensuring efficient production and company profits.

2. Develop and implement test standard procedures, ensuring adherence and supporting focus factory units to minimize downtime.

3. Follow up and implement equipment, process, and product changes according to MCOs and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence of failures.

4. Design, develop, and implement test fixtures with proper guarding to eliminate or mitigate risks, and implement automation projects for more reliable processes and cost savings.

5. Align with Automotive Standards for validations, including MSA and other statistical tools, and master sample developments and poka yoke methods.

6. Develop TPM programs (Total Preventive Maintenance) and ensure correct implementation on test equipment to reduce downtime.

7. Execute test validation methods to meet quality test specifications according to APQP methodology.

8. Lead Capital Projects, including decision matrix analysis, quoting process, timing, ROI, and capitalization.

9. Implement projects linked to Lean Six Sigma methodologies for waste elimination and variation reduction to improve the testing process.

10. Develop and implement improvement solutions based on Industry 4.0 with an automotive mindset.

11. Actively participate in layout changes and use of 3P methodology.

12. Participate in safety assessments and generate JSA and MOC (Job Safety Analysis and Management of Changes).

**Requirements:**

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar.

2. High level of communication skills (written/oral) in English.

3. 5-10 years of experience in electrical test engineering positions or similar.

4. 3-5 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

**Preferred Skills:**

1. Strong knowledge of IPC-610, 620, 7710, and ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949.

2. Highly skilled in C++ programming, CVI, Lab View, Chroma platforms.

3. Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

4. Strong knowledge of automation, programming, test devices, and basic troubleshooting.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
