Job Opportunity - Electromechanical Design Engineer

Schneider Electric Gruppe is seeking a skilled professional to serve as an Electromechanical Design Engineer to support the development of LV Equipment Busway offer.

This role might be a good fit for you if you have:

  1. At least 5 years of experience in design and development of electromechanical products.
  2. A degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, with a Master's degree being desirable.
  3. General knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  4. Experience with Agile design process (Scrum & Kanban) is preferred.
  5. Experience in creating Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Risk Analysis.
  6. Experience with analytical tools.
  7. Experience with CAD packages, Creo being preferred.
  8. Experience in a new product development environment and an understanding of gated product development processes and product life cycle.
  9. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and the design of plastic parts, mechanism design, sheet metal parts, dielectric, and conductive components design.
  10. Self-motivated, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple activities.
  11. Excellent written, organizational, communication, and behavioral skills.
  12. Able to work well in a cross-functional project team environment.
  13. Ability to influence and convince.
  14. Good communication skills are essential (business English conversations).
  15. Desirable to have a valid visa for travel to the USA, with an estimated 20% of travel required.
