Commissioning Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Commissioning Engineer at TC Energy, you will be responsible for championing our commitment to integrity, safety, and respect. You will coordinate the development and execution of the commissioning manual, key commissioning deliverables, and checklists. Your duties will also include supervising commissioning service providers in accordance with the commissioning plan, company standard operating procedures, and project deadlines.

Key Skills

You will need to maintain commissioning records for handover to Operations, coordinate with the Commissioning Coordinator to keep abreast of project strategies, and support commissioning service providers, contractors, and vendors in executing the commissioning plan. Additionally, you will promote company standards and quality by ensuring accuracy of systems results and prepare and issue commissioning progress reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate leadership in a team-based environment, be familiar with current industry quality standards and practices, and have demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer database systems. A bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, along with a minimum of 7 years' experience in QA/QC and turnover activities. Bilingualism in Spanish and English is a plus, and you must have a valid driver's license.
