Global Systems & Information Technology is seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead our Engineering Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving engineering responsibilities on both technical and managerial fronts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and offshore/on-site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular project reviews to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
- Manage a team of 25+ members, including hiring, performance improvement plans, reviews, conflict resolution, training needs, and overall management.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage geographically dispersed technical teams.
- Lead hands-on experience in project and people management, with a focus on quality process, budget preparation, and schedule tracking.
- Facilitate cross-functional interactions and develop roadmaps for team growth and development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in complete SDLC and end-to-end IoT-based product development and management.
- Strong background in building scalable, high-quality, high-performance cloud products.
- PMP/Scrum Master/Product Owner certification is a plus.
- Understanding of effort estimates and technical proposal preparation.
- Strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Process awareness of CMMi level 3 and above.
