Check Analyst

HSBC is seeking a skilled Check Analyst to join our team in Mexico. As a Check Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our banking operations.

• Perform analysis and review of incoming and outgoing checks/transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify the accuracy of check images and reconcile audit reports to ensure compliance with operational controls.
• Investigate and analyze lost containers and correct transactions to prevent financial losses.
• Collaborate with the RRD team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Monitor suspense accounts and ensure that all GL accounts are at zero.
• Process and manage check returns, including generating chargebacks and formatting returns for clients.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to cash concentrations and accreditations.
• Conduct reconciliation processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with operational controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Economic-Administrative area, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 1 year of experience in administrative, operational, or accounting processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and English language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
