Job Summary
Bosch Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer - Supplier to join our team. As a key member of our Purchasing organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers' products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling of supplier quality issues, including recording, evaluation, and conclusion of claims procedures
- Owner of claims management process, initiating the reimbursement of defect cost process, and ensuring continuous production flow
- Issue concessions, certify suspect material, and support preventive quality measures and part release
- In charge of physical measurement of supplier parts, safe launch activities, and responsible for incoming inspection
- Taskforce/escalation management, lead, and/or support after release, and additional responsibilities as required/assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable degree
- Experience in Quality Assurance in Automotive industry, professional experience in purchasing, manufacturing, project management (desired)
- Familiar with Quality Methods such as 8D, FMEA, APQP/PPAP, control plans, SPC, MSA, etc.
- MS Office and SAP knowledge, skilled in high degree of goal and result orientation, pro-active, independent, and structured working style, and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and environments, good ability to manage business relationship with internal customers and external suppliers, good social, team communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and assertiveness
- Fluently English language skill both written and spoken, openness to work in a global team
