Job Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst - Supply Chain Insights role involves overseeing the design, development, and management of reporting solutions within the Oracle Fusion environment. This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to create, customize, and maintain reports that provide valuable insights into business performance and data analysis.

The successful candidate will ensure the efficient delivery of accurate and actionable information through well-designed reports and dashboards, driving informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Reporting Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with business units to understand reporting requirements, data needs, and key performance indicators. Develop a comprehensive reporting strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.">
  • Report Design and Development: Lead the design and development of various types of reports, including operational, analytical, and ad-hoc reports, using Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and related tools. Collaborate with data analysts and business analysts to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and presentation.">
  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract and transform data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Utilize SQL queries and scripting languages to manipulate and prepare data for reporting.">
  • Technical Leadership: Support a team of report developers and analysts, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support. Help define best practices for report development, data visualization, and user experience.">
  • Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using BI Analytics or other relevant tools. Ensure dashboards provide actionable insights and enable effective decision-making.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)">
  • Certification in Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, BI Analytics, and other relevant reporting tools">
  • Certification in data migration tools and technologies, ETL processes, and data transformation methodologies">
  • Experience in developing reports leveraging Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, BI Analytics, and other relevant reporting tools across Financials, SCM, HCM, and Project">
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data structures, and data visualization best practices">
  • Solid understanding of data structures, SQL queries, and data visualization best practices">
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and generate insights">
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and tools">

Estimated Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum
