POSITION OVERVIEW

The Financial Analyst for Manufacturing will oversee essential month-end closing processes, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and the generation of reports pertaining to our manufacturing facilities in the US and Canada, particularly focusing on Inventory and Cost of Sales. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will require substantial collaboration with various departments, business functions, and international operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute manual journal entries with appropriate documentation in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring meticulous attention to detail during calculations and journal preparation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to review month-end journal entries.
  • Timely and accurately prepare balance sheet reconciliations, demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and distribute regular financial reports (daily, weekly, or monthly as necessary).
  • Consistently adhere to established accounting procedures.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is required.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • A proactive approach to challenging existing processes and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • A strong ability to work efficiently and assist others in enhancing productivity.
  • Exceptional presentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle software is advantageous.
