About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Next Generation Testing Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing testing, repairs, and routine servicing on equipment in the shop and the field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support for product line systems and its components, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Interact with the rig crew and advise driller or company man of events or problems identified during operations.
  3. Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as required.
  4. Assist in time, cost, and labor estimates for completion of job assignments.
  5. Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.
  6. Responsible for daily reports, records of events and proper database management of all well data.
  7. Attend morning meetings and conference calls as necessary.
  8. Write daily and end of well reports.
  9. Assist in the rig up and rig down of equipment.
  10. Provide reliable, prompt, and courteous service to oilandgas's customers.
  11. Isolate and solve complex problems on the job site with the assistance of our technical support groups.
  12. Know and understand oilandgas Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  13. Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of oilandgas.
  14. Personal career development through external and internal technical and non-technical training.
  15. You will be required to work in a field and an outdoor setting for extended hours, at times, in extreme climates.
  16. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering is preferred.
  2. Graduation Year:
  3. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  5. A strong work ethic and leadership potential.
  6. Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  7. Requires extensive travel both domestically and internationally and extended stays away from home.
  8. Willingness to relocate and work in remote locations over several years.
