The Role
We are in search of a dedicated engineer to become a member of our software quality assurance division, contributing to the ongoing advancement of our Platform Orchestration solution. You will have the opportunity to showcase your potential and technical inquisitiveness while working on software that employs a variety of cutting-edge technologies and integration frameworks. Your Contributions
- Offer software quality assurance insights for project timelines, plans, and software architectures.
- Analyze feature specifications and design documents to formulate clear, comprehensive, and precise testing strategies.
- Design, document, and implement manual tests across various target environments. Develop and execute automated regression tests while applying suitable strategies for system, integration, and regression testing of finalized software.
- Create and maintain formal documentation throughout all phases of test development and execution.
- Assist fellow QA team members in overcoming testing challenges, addressing issues related to testing methodologies, application functionality, or specific technical expertise.
- Investigate and replicate issues, providing solutions for users to continue their tasks seamlessly.
- Communicate product readiness, quality levels, and outcomes to the Development Manager and other product team members.
- Continuously enhance your industry knowledge, skills, and competencies in quality assurance practices.
Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong grasp of various software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Cypress.
- Proficiency in programming languages suitable for test automation, including Java and Python.
- Experience in designing, developing, and refining an automation framework.
- Analytical capabilities to identify, estimate, develop, and execute test scenarios effectively.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
- A quality-focused work ethic with a keen attention to detail.
- High levels of curiosity to investigate potential software defects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a geographically diverse team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
