The ideal candidate will be based in Mexico and will be responsible for participating in rollout, localization, and enhancement SAP projects with national and international clients.
Key Responsibilities- Support all phases of the project, including planning, design, prototyping, build/rollout, testing, training, and maintenance support.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and applications to meet business requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance in SAP ABAP development.
- Lead and participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex SAP solutions while collaborating with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code and SAP processes for performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP development and SAP systems.
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior SAP ABAP Developer in similar roles, with experience in end-to-end implementations and support experience in both ECC or S/4 HANA settings.
- Proven experience interfacing SAP with other connected systems using Idocs, RFC, CPI, web services, AIF, and so on.
- Experience with Mexican localization scenarios is required; other LatAm localization experience would be advantageous.
- Strong consulting and communication skills in Spanish and English (business level).
- Collaborative working style with internal and external stakeholders as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
