Job Title: SAP HR Technical Consultant

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP HR applications, providing technical leadership and guidance in the design and implementation of configurations, customizations, enhancements, and changes to meet evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement SAP HR applications in accordance with SAP HR development guidelines.
  • Collaborate with IT architects and consultants in virtual teams to deliver IT product and solution functionalities.
  • Analyze and develop recommendations to fix or enhance solutions.
  • Participate in tier 3 support activities, including incident management and the assessment and delivery of upgrades and patches.
  • Provide continuity with IT product/solution and infrastructure management operational groups during service transition.
  • Perform unit tests to ensure quality, including the execution of test plans, debugging, and subsequent fixes.
  • Assist in the design and development of proof of concept and prototype solution/IT product environments.
  • Document specifications and support the creation of operational support manuals during technical implementation.
  • Perform detailed activity task management, including task estimates and task progress updates.
  • Interact with HR customers to define and finalize HR business requirements from a technical perspective, with the support of other team members when needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar areas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP ABAP application development experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing ABAP applications for SAP HR/HCM processes.
  • Hands-on experience in data migration and interfaces using EDI, ALE, and IDoc.
  • Hands-on experience in developing UI5 and FIORI-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP and its main principles.
  • Working knowledge of all RICEF concepts (reports, interfaces, BDCs, enhancements/exits, smart forms).
  • Hands-on experience on ABAP HR – creation and modification of info types, LDB, and clusters.
  • Exposure to WorkDay would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in interfaces (HCP, Success Factors & On-Premise).
  • Worked or knowledge of workflows – creation and modification.
