As a Logistics Supervisor at Jabil Circuit, you will be responsible for overseeing the import/export operations, ensuring timely completion of processes, and managing logistics requirements to meet business goals. This role requires strong knowledge of global logistics operations, financial analysis, and international customs regimes.
Key Responsibilities- Validate Import/Export Operations: Ensure that all import/export operations are uploaded into the maquila software at 100% and make incident reports as needed.
- Develop Action Plans: Create corrective action plans for issues outside of parameters, including who, what, and when the issue will be resolved.
- Manage Logistics Requirements: Determine logistics requirements to enable the company's business goals and objectives, and devise strategies to achieve targets.
- Authorize Freight Bills: Approve and authorize freight bills in agreement with the Traffic Coordinator.
- Ensure Timely Reporting: Deliver reports on time to the Traffic Coordination, including Freight In, On Time Delivery, Discrepancies, Incidences, and PTA.
- Manage Custom Brokers and Carriers: Ensure that Custom Brokers and Carriers send information on time to the Traffic team.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct performance evaluations for employees on time.
- Ensure Personnel Certification: Ensure that personnel are certified if required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade or Similar: A bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade or a similar field is required.
- 3 Years of Experience in Import/Export: 3 years of experience in the import/export area in companies with Fomento PITEX/Maquila programs is required.
- Strong Knowledge of Logistics Operations: Strong knowledge of global logistics operations, financial analysis, and international customs regimes is required.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and email skills, are required.
