Job Summary

Zurich Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our Core Platform Modernization team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, defining, configuring, supporting, and auditing Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement solutions using best practices through standard configuration and custom development.
  2. Develop clear functional requirements and technical specifications when custom development is required.
  3. Support the analysis of CRM information system needs through the organization, including product evaluations, recommendations for system selection, implementation, enhancements, and support.
  4. Define and optimize processes to help drive improvements to meet business needs in Salesforce.
  5. Build and manage dashboards, views, and reports.
  6. Design security modules.
  7. Develop custom components, triggers, and pages.
  8. Audit and resolve data quality issues; make recommendations to prevent issues from recurring in the future.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in software programming applications.
  2. OR
  3. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in software programming applications.
  4. OR
  5. Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in software programming applications.
  6. AND
  7. Experience assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs.
  8. Experience working with multiple phases of software systems programming applications.
  9. Experience working with multiple programming languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  2. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  3. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II highly preferred.
  4. Three or more years of experience in the Lightning Aura Component.
  5. Three or more years of experience developing Classes, Controllers, and Triggers.
  6. Three or more years of experience with Salesforce Batch Apex.
  7. Three or more years of experience with Rest API integration.
  8. One or more years of experience with Lightning Service Console.
  9. One or more years of experience in Lightning - specifically working with Lightning Web Components highly preferred.
  10. One or more years of experience with Web Services via Service Bus or equivalent with MuleSoft.
  11. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, relational database principles, and operating systems.
  12. Experience in design and development of enterprise systems.
  13. Execution experience in the Agile delivery model.
  14. Experience in working with various project stakeholders at various levels in a matrix organization.
