Based in Querétaro, Mexico, this role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Packaging and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer packaging material demand, allocating purchase orders or forecasts, and ensuring timely delivery. Your key functions will include:
- Entering customer orders or demands into SAP
- Checking plausibility and alignment with customers regarding real demand (volume and timing)
- Monitoring customer materials daily and reconciling confirmed orders in regards to production and delivery dates
- Coordinating solution agreements with customers, Logistics Team, and Order Center Team
- Date / Order confirmation to customers, tracking, and creation of order records
- Managing all customer materials, updating new designs, and informing about deactivating old versions
- Coordinating order releases with dispatch – priority lists
- Tracking sleeves and cylinders stock and discussing delivery/scrapping requirements with customers
- Managing relationships with the European Order Center Team and other sourcing sites
- Issuing goods (PBDs) in SAP
- Following up on time materials deliveries with the Logistics team
You will also be responsible for reporting Orders Delay Status and Open Orders reports on a weekly basis to track sleeve budget accomplishment and lead weekly meetings if necessary.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Management, or similar
- 3-5 years' experience in demand planning or Customer Service in a packaging industry
- English proficiency for business purposes
- Professional skills such as decision-making, analysis, communication, and teamwork
