Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Process Development Specialist to join our team at Terex Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing welding processes that meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve welding-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain welding standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams to ensure effective implementation of welding processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in welding technology to ensure our manufacturing operations remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in welding manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  • Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, including GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with industrial controls, PLCs, and factory automation.
  • Experience with welding certification programs (AWS, ISO, ASME, IIW).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autocad/DraftSight.
  • Experience with welding fixtures and equipment maintenance.
