Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer to join our team at Orion Startups. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing feature implementations, developing and deploying new features, and maintaining all systems operational through automated deployments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to university personnel in resolving bugs and errors in the code.
  • Solve complex bugs and errors in the code, ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.
  • Maintain all systems operational through automated deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Design feature implementations within the constraints of our user needs and tech stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and deploy new features, from backend to frontend, leveraging your expertise in TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
  • Report to Orion Startups' and Tecnológico de Monterrey's personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • High fluency in TypeScript, with experience in developing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Considerable experience with React, with a strong understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of React Hooks, with the ability to apply them effectively in your code.
  • Basics of NextJS, with experience in building fast and scalable applications.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, with a strong understanding of its services and APIs.
  • Basic understanding of Docker, with the ability to containerize and deploy applications.
  • Considerable experience with GraphQL, with a strong understanding of its query language and schema.
  • Experience with the serverless paradigm, with a strong understanding of its benefits and trade-offs.
  • Preferably, knowledge of Flutter, with experience in building cross-platform applications.

  • Strong product ownership, with the ability to drive projects forward and deliver results.
  • Uncertainty management, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and find creative solutions.
