About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Cost Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team at Kellanova. As a key member of our Supply Chain Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Work Flow Development: Establish and refine processes for new projects, ensuring that all cost accounting activities align with project objectives and company standards.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and identify any discrepancies that need resolution.
  • Costing Recording and Reporting: Manage the costing recording process, which includes accurately capturing and reporting all costs associated with manufacturing and distribution activities.
  • Factory and Distribution Financial Closing: Support the financial closing process for factory and distribution operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported within specified deadlines.
  • Budgeting and Compliance Support: Assist with budget preparation, standard cost analysis, and providing support for external and internal audits, including Quarterly SOX reports, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Desirable recent graduate with experience or interest in developing a career in the area of cost analysis.
  • Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with a focus on detail and results-oriented work.
