Job Summary:

The Material Handler is a key member of the Flowserve team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading and Verification: Unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of bill of lading and packing lists.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately record materials received on the appropriate purchase orders and distribute copies to the relevant personnel.
  • Damage Identification and Reporting: Conduct inspections and identify damaged goods, providing a damage identification as needed.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments and ensure that all documents are properly filed and archived.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain good housekeeping in all assigned work areas and follow all warehouse processes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all Flowserve safety requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Basis computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to work occasional overtime, including weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous related material handling and forklift experience.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
