**Operations Leadership**

The Director of Mx Operations will work closely with the eCos executive team to establish goals and priorities for setting up the Mexico nearshoring operation and is responsible for recommending, setting, enforcing, and evaluating organizational policies and structure for the office. This role also involves:

• Planning, implementing, and managing the annual budget for Mexico office, including office space, labor costs, technology costs, and general and administrative expenses.

• Providing quarterly presentations to leadership on findings, trends, and recommendations for process improvement.

• Working with eCos leadership on managing staff and allocating resources.

• Promoting growth and optimization of Mexico support team platform by reviewing ongoing results and performances and recommending updates and changes as needed.

• Supporting eCos leadership on business case development for projects or key initiatives.

• Collaborating with Leadership to conduct research and remain actively aware of industry best practices.

**Human Resources Management**

The Director of Mx Operations is responsible for ensuring compliance with Mexico labor laws and best practices across all human resources functions for the direct hire of employees and contractors, including benefits, compensation, supervisor/support relations, staff recruitment and retention, staff development and training, performance management and evaluation, recognition programs, hiring, and HR policy development and implementation. This role also involves:

• Working cross-functionally with internal partners to determine critical staffing needs.

• Coaching supervisors and managers in effective and legal hiring practices.

• Overseeing the recruitment and selection of staff, posting advertisements, screening applicants, coordinating and participating in interviews when needed.

• Supporting eCos leadership by regularly evaluating performance of Mexico office employees, and providing actionable insights and recommendations for performance and recruitment enhancement.

• Serving as the primary coach, mentor, and advocate for employees and contractors on escalated matters.

• Promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff, managing a diverse team of professionals, enhancing communication with all levels of organization, and building bridges and better processes.

**Requirements**

This role requires:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, or similar.

• At least 10 years of high-level functional experience in organizational management and human resources administration, training, strategic planning, and experience in providing recommendations on management and human resources related activities, including policy development and compliance.

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Experience in drafting documents, developing, and delivering presentations, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members is required.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information is essential.

• Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Able to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.

**Compensation and Location**

The compensation for this role is $805,000.00 per year, and the work location is hybrid remote in Guadalajara, Jal.
