Production Artist Overview
The Production Artist plays a crucial role in creating high-quality artwork for production assignments, incorporating branding guidelines and technical specifications into artwork layout.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings with the team to gather information on production assignments.
- Produce high-quality artwork that meets industry standards.
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely completion of artwork, using industry-standard software, tools, and print techniques.
- Perform assigned tasks within the production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, industry, and company SOPs.
- Log and maintain project plan information into the project tracking system.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred
• 6+ years of previous graphic arts experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel may be required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
Must have the ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement.
Physical Aspects/Work Environment
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk, hear, and see. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
