Job Description
At the LEGO Group, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Manager Specialist to support our site Demand Plan by increasing flexibility and delivery responsiveness from our Suppliers. This role exists to manage Categories needs and strategy in compliance with local and global processes, engaging Suppliers to perform accordingly while continuously pursuing value add.
Main Challenges
Effective & Efficient Category Management locally to increase productivity, improve Compliance, Increase Value Add, and Improve Partner Promise.
Core Responsibilities
- Sourcing: Understand business needs and provide supply and sourcing strategies in compliance with product specifications and Category requirements.
- Negotiation & Cost analysis: Drive quotes and cost analysis and breakdown for negotiation, price adjustments by cost drivers, and create a healthy competitiveness environment.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, manage, and communicate risks by leading action plans to avoid/mitigate potential impacts from own area and linked to internal customers points of connection.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Lead Supplier Relationship Account by developing, evaluating, and with a continuous improvement approach to the Vendors as responsible.
- Capacity analysis & Delivery responsiveness: Analyze capacity from Suppliers to make sure that the regional demand is covered On Time and In Full.
- Productivity & Continuous Improvement: Drive productivity and efficiency initiatives internally and with suppliers, providing saving to the business and workload reduction.
- Project Management: As leader or participant.
- Market & key indicators tracking: Obtain input from institutional sources and from Suppliers to analyze trends and variables that can potentially affect the supply, material cost composition, or the category strategy to adjust and ensuring supply continuity.
- Comply with the Procurement Processes related to the Supply Chain Security Programs (CTPAT-OEA) and FSC: Through internal applicable processes and guidelines to comply with these Programs.
- Digital skills (Power BI): Manage and develop visual and interactive insight for analysis from own area of responsibility.
- EHS Related: Take ownership for the appropriate integration and/or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its efficiency. Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area. Provide support, participate proactively, and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area. Follow the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External/internal) and others applicable to your area.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineer / International commerce Bachelor or similar.
- 7+ years of experience within Procurement processes especially on BOM categories.
- General understanding of the supply materials via MRP within a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in participating in Projects impacting the Organization within Supply Chain and productivity areas.
- Global and local collaboration environment experience.
- English Fluent Level.
