Senior Commissioning Manager

Equinix is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Senior Manager to join our operations team. As a Commissioning Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing commissioning projects across different countries and time zones. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commissioning projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules that meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with construction managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure that all commissioning activities are completed to their satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate with commissioning consultants to ensure that all commissioning activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement commissioning procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Provide input and suggestions on new and existing Critical Environment Programs.
- Responsible for regional, short- to medium-term pipeline management to inform resource planning.
- Responsible to the Directors of Construction, Commercial, Design, Commissioning in input into the project budget for all commissioning related activities.
- Develops the architecture of electrical and mechanical Functional Performance Test procedures and Factory Acceptance Test Procedures to be implemented by Cx Consultants.
- Maintains commissioning logs, equipment checklist, and other tools to track commissioning projects.
- Provides a pathway of field installed issues and technical resolutions back to the GOE global setting standards and design change process.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data center commissioning is preferred.
- Leadership experience in a mission-critical environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering preferred.
- Advanced fluent Spanish and English is a must.
