About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Adidas. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that the company acquires goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories, including Marketing, Professional services, and Facilities services for Mexico cluster and LAM countries.
  • Establish and manage the whole process of non-trade procurement, including rules and procedures according to internal control and global Procurement processes.
  • Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality, and process improvements.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Lead supplier selection processes in alignment with business partners and negotiate contracts up to final authorization.
  • Continues approach to identify business needs and develop procurement plans that meet organizational requirements and budget constraints.
  • Continuous learning and development of procurement/category knowledge and methodologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement or law, or comparable professional education.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience within procurement with proven experience in category management, PM, stakeholders management and supplier's relationship management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/Ariba and/or other Guided Buying and Sourcing tools.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
