**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to lead our production activities in Mexicali. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of production to manufacture and develop high-quality products at optimum cost and in accordance with customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Oversee and manage optimization of manufacturing efficiencies to achieve department targets.
  • Plan and coordinate production activities to obtain optimum utilization of human resources, direct materials, and equipment.
  • Advise management on new developments that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and inter-departmental relations.
  • Schedule all labor within the assigned department, including overtime, vacations, leave of absences, and training.
  • Approve time records for the department on a weekly basis.
  • Provide timely performance feedback and annual reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies that may improve operations and develop recommendations accordingly.
  • Develop CI understanding to participate in larger lean projects and potentially lead smaller area-specific projects.

**Requirements**:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Medical Device Industry, with a minimum of 2 years of responsibility in a lead role.
  • Working knowledge of progressive management technologies such as Lean Manufacturing, JIT, MRP, and ERP.
  • English proficiency (90% spoken and written).
  • Minimum 8 years of management experience.
  • Vigent VISA.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
