About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Section Manager - Operations Excellence Leader to join our team at Mondelez International. As a key member of our operations leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the production operations in our Plant and delivering key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of our manufacturing strategy and ensure its effective execution.
  • Build a high-performing organization by developing and coaching a team of leaders and employees.
  • Manage change and transformation initiatives, including the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey and Factory of Future Line centric organization.
  • Develop and implement operational excellence methodologies, such as TPM-Total Productive Maintenance and WCM-World Class Manufacturing.
  • Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability, and operating systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturing standards, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and be accountable for Talent, Capabilities, and Engagement for the Manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the food industry or mass consumption.
  • Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience, with expertise in TPM, WCM, and 6 sigma tools and concepts.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and transformation.
  • Financial knowledge, planning knowledge, and knowledge of Federal Labor Law and collective contracts.
  • Leadership experience, including administrative and union staff management.
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
