Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead our PRP Programs and objectives at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing programs to meet customer and business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership

As a Senior Program Manager, you will represent the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) in a professional manner to the customer and YFAI management. You will motivate the team to meet commitments to established timing, build team technically and personally through mentoring and coaching, and resolve conflicts between team members, departments, and the customer.

Scope Management

You will communicate the impact of scope changes to the customer and SDT in a timely manner, manage the program scope, and ensure all scope changes are captured in the appropriate documents. You will also utilize the scope change approval process for internal and customer scope changes, differentiate scope changes from engineering changes, and manage the risk of scope changes.

Planning

You will attain 0 recordable accidents, 0 rejected parts per million, 0 delivery misses, and 100% of financial commitments at 90 days post-launch. You will anticipate risk caused by late tasks and changes, develop mitigation strategies, and establish a documented implementation plan and containment action for engineering changes at launch.

Financial Roadmap & Financial Reporting

You will schedule Finance SDT meetings, meet financial targets of the program, and manage Financial Roadmap dates, action, and cost. You will also ensure the product(s) is designed to meet BOM cost targets by facilitating between engineering and finance to meet targets.

Timing

You will create work breakdown structures (WBS) with customer milestones/deliverables used as the foundation, develop gate timing, and ensure the program timeline is utilized in weekly SDT meetings to clearly communicate deliverables and due dates.

Product

You will lead the team to meet Craftsmanship objectives, audit customer samples for customer satisfaction, manage CAD schedule, prototype build schedule, and testing schedule, and ensure any gaps are addressed to meet timeline.

Customer Satisfaction

You will foster an effective personal working relationship with appropriate customer contacts, maintain YFAI and personal credibility with the customer, and recognize the customer as a key contact for program implementation.
