Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and tests on polymeric materials and components to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and requirements for telecommunications products.
- Analyze and interpret data from test results and research studies to identify key factors that influence the production process.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of polymer processing operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding the use and handling of polymeric materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
- Document and report on research findings, test results, and process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in polymer science and incorporate them into the production process where applicable.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Certifications or relevant coursework in Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Physics, Polymer Extrusion process, thermodynamics, etc.
- Master's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- +5 years of technical experience in manufacturing or researching environment related to polymer science, material science, or chemical engineering.
- Proven experience in data analysis and problem-solving related to polymeric materials and applications.
- Experience in process engineering, particularly related to the production and development of telecommunications products (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge in polymer science and engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of the principles and practices involved in process engineering.
- Proficient in using software applications used in polymer science research and testing.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments within generally defined practices and policies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Continual learning and adaptation to new technologies and advancements in the field of polymer science.
