We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team as a Technical Leader for Cloud Security. This individual will be responsible for conducting research and development activities surrounding cloud solutions and relevant security controls. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and leading technical improvement projects for clients with a focus on engineering cybersecurity solutions focused primarily on cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a demonstrated ability to lead and perform cybersecurity solutions development in a professional services environment. A degree in computer science or information security is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with implementing cybersecurity solutions in Windows, Active Directory, Azure, and AWS environments, as well as familiarity with security solutions and concepts such as SIEM, SASE, CASB, Zero Trust, and Firewalls.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development activities surrounding cloud solutions and relevant security controls
- Design, build, and lead technical improvement projects for clients with a focus on engineering cybersecurity solutions focused primarily on cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS)
- Deliver exceptional client service, including communicating with clients throughout the entire project life cycle to better understand client needs
- Assess the client's technical environment and requirements while managing expectations and following through on solutions or consulting on deployments
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead and perform cybersecurity solutions development in a professional services environment
- Hands-on experience with implementing cybersecurity solutions in Windows, Active Directory, Azure, and AWS environments
- Familiarity with security solutions and concepts such as SIEM, SASE, CASB, Zero Trust, and Firewalls
