Key Responsibilities- Coordinate inspection of incoming materials, intermediates, and products to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Identify and coordinate initiatives to improve quality and productivity, and lead the management of blocked materials due to quality defects.
- Ensure the control of chemical substances in the quality laboratory and coordinate training in aspects of quality.
- Directly lead and participate in the definition of product-specific defects and AQLs, and manage the calibration plan of the quality laboratories.
- Control production processes to ensure products meet specifications, and implement quality control plans.
- Develop and implement inspection plans, and manage KPIs related to quality.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and GMP standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field.
- Knowledge of applied statistics, including process capability, sampling, and design of experiments.
- Familiarity with quality laboratory management requirements, including packaging, raw materials, and microbiology.
- Experience with quality tools, such as control plans, SPC, AQL, R&R, sample size, and confidence interval.
- Excellent communication and computer skills, including Excel and SAP.
- Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency.
- Quality system auditing experience, including ISO 9001:2015 and GMP standards.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and MINITAB software.
- Knowledge of laboratory standards, physical-chemical analysis, packaging, and microbiology.
