Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced EPS Product Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing various projects with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets. Your entrepreneurial mindset will enable you to manage all necessary actions effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project management standards and quality benchmarks.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans while maintaining alignment with ZF's project management processes.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, aiming to maximize financial contributions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on operational planning and productivity targets.
- Develop and implement financial recovery plans when necessary.
- Ensure timely customer reimbursements and identify opportunities for financial claims.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans that meet established QCD targets.
- Proactively manage project risks and facilitate problem resolution within the project team.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address their interests and concerns.
- Willingness to travel 30-50% as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a Business/Management degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Project Management within the Automotive sector.
- Familiarity with Project Management standards and systems such as PLM, Planisware, and C-Place.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Project Management methodologies including planning, controlling, monitoring, risk assessment, and quality management.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial competencies, including customer orientation and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective leadership skills, emphasizing teamwork, adaptability, and results-driven approaches.
- Strong social and interpersonal skills, with a focus on communication and relationship building.
- Possession of a valid American Visa and Passport.
