Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and manage the Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) process within the Quality Information Management (QIM) database, ensuring effective containment and validation of robustness.
- Assist APU Managers and Site Managers in analyzing issues identified during QRQC activities.
- Maintain and update APU quality tracking metrics, including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality.
- Conduct line audits to identify non-compliance with established standards and collaborate with APU to implement corrective actions.
- Engage in the resolution of customer complaints and non-quality issues.
- During APU QRQC meetings, ensure adherence to established protocols, including the principles of stopping at the first disagreement and halting production at the first indication of non-compliance.
- Revise control plans following the identification of issues.
- Verify compliance with the 4M matrix concerning product or process changes, ensuring customer notification and approval.
- Update quality documentation in response to process-related changes.
- Ensure ongoing process conformity to produce specifications as outlined in control plans, including annual machine capability audits.
- Possess the authority to halt manufacturing or assembly lines in situations where standards are compromised or safety and quality risks are identified.
- Act as the customer representative within Valeo on quality-related matters, facilitating communication and escalation as necessary.
- If in the role of APU Quality Leader, report directly to this position without superseding the authority of the APU Quality Leader or Site Quality Manager.
Additional Responsibilities: Oversee Product Development (PD), Corrective Actions (CA), and closure management for incidents involving internal suppliers.
