**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, as well as maintaining and securing all financial records and cash handling procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Verify and reconcile financial transactions and postings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain all financial records, including journals, ledgers, and computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep accurate financial records.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, including statistical and accounting data, to support business decision-making.
- Follow up on past due accounts and vendor invoices to ensure timely payment and resolution.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
