About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of production staff to ensure all plant objectives, policies, and procedures are met
- Managing team performance through regular appraisals and training plans
- Driving quality culture by ensuring work processes and procedures are adhered to
- Ensuring production efficiencies and targets are met through collaboration with Process Engineering & Maintenance teams
- Implementing continuous improvements and lean manufacturing activities
- Liaising with engineering and management for scheduling and supervision of product trials and validation runs
- Optimizing resources and planning in accordance with order requirements
- Recruiting production employees in conjunction with HR
- Coordinating with Warehouse Supervisor for stock maintenance and control
- Performing administrative duties such as Time and Attendance System and Holiday planning
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Supply Chain Discipline
- English proficiency of 70% desirable
- Experience working in Insercion machine processes
- Experience in Flexography / SMTP
- Previous experience in a Supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with ERP package or similar project experience
- Excellent PC system skills and experience of integrated systems
- Background on operational systems such as TPM, 5 ́S ́, PDCA, good manufacturing practices & lean principles
