Mainframe Developer

Wipro Limited is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. As a Mainframe Developer, you will play a critical role in the development, maintenance, and support of our large-scale mainframe computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system.

• Maintain and develop on-line and batch application programs.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Advanced conversational English.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in Mainframe technologies.

• Proficient in COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, VSAM, MVS1, ESM/CA7 scheduler, SQL DB2, and Xpediter.

• Abend-Aid strongly preferred. Experience in other relational databases and debugging tools can be substituted.

• Good knowledge in IBM DB2.

• MQ and Web service interface knowledge.

• Basic knowledge of SSRS.

• Basic knowledge of Linux / shell scripting.
