Setting: Skilled Nursing Center (Long-term care)

Population Type: Geriatric.

Duration: 3 years (Renewable).

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the scope of practice, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies. You will also be responsible for charting and incident reporting, following company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
  • Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
  • Document any change in patient's conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or any other noticeable changes.
  • Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
  • Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
  • Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must have a license as an RN in home country.
  • Have graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Must be proficient in English.
