Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Haas Group International, Llc. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining a clear and accurate understanding of the policies and procedures of purchasing products in support of requirements from the Sales and JIT Contracts departments and maintaining relationships with suppliers and Incora operational sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Develop and apply knowledge of procurement basics, legal requirements, and ethical conduct to all purchasing activities.
  • Supplier Management: Examine and analyze incoming purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information, as trained.
  • Contract Management: Determine method to process requisition based on dollar amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding.
  • Communication and Liaison: Contact department or initiator to clarify or complete information and resolve any problems on the requisitions.
  • Problem Resolution: Work in partnership with Material Support Specialists and Purchasing Support Representatives, in support of all procurement efforts, delivery, and/or quality.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Evaluate supplier compliance with contract cost, quality, and schedule requirements, and report any deficiencies to purchasing management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field AND one year of applicable aerospace experience; Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), and/or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred.
  • Experience: Basic knowledge and experience of purchasing practices and procedures; Basic knowledge of Wesco materials and products or aerospace parts is preferred; Proven skills in interpreting basic technical specifications and bids; Previous experience in establishing and maintaining positive and effective working relationships.
  • Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to analyze and evaluate data, and/or learn to make sound procurement recommendations and decisions; Ability to maintain an effective liaison with vendors, management, staff, and co-workers.
