Sourcing is a critical function within North American Production Sharing, and as a Sourcing Buyer, you will play a key role in securing high-quality materials and components to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quote package preparation and negotiation with suppliers to secure the best possible prices.
- Acquire products and services from suppliers in Mexico, the EU, and other countries while ensuring adherence to quality and delivery requirements.
- Execute negotiated supply agreements with established inventory levels for raw materials.
- Manage the purchasing cycle, including the execution of MRP action messages, expediting material shortages, and coordinating sub-contract items with operations and suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (preferred).
- 90% proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Procurement process knowledge and inventory control principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
Job Requirements:
- High proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
