Aerospace Inspector Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Inspector to join our team at Verify Inc. as an In-Process Quality Control Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure only conforming parts are introduced to the manufacturing floor.
• Utilize various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges to check dimensions and processes on parts or raw material.
• Work closely with Design Engineering, Project Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure all manufacturing and inspection activities are performed in compliance with process work documents and customer requirements.
• Perform mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections of parts using inspection hand tools and document disposition of any nonconforming material discovered during the inspection process.
• Perform receiving document review to ensure unbroken traceability to the respective OEM.
• Interface with customer portals using Net-Inspect and/or customer specified software.
• Perform verification and calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment and associated tools.

Requirements:

• Possess general knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards.
• Knowledge of parts made with plastics and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with regards to inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite products and knowledge of GD&T.
• 5 or more years of experience in aerospace.
