Job Description

As a key member of the Garrett - Advancing Motion team, the Sr Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and plan day-to-day preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for a specific technology or group of machinery. This role is responsible for developing and executing downtime reduction initiatives, managing maintenance engineers, contractors, budget, capital, and all necessary technologies related to their area. The successful candidate will develop projects OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and minimizing losses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to minimize availability losses, reduce MTTR & MTBF, and improve OEE.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and availability of Planned Maintenance documentation and Autonomous Maintenance documentation in SAP, Quality Documentation control, and Shop Floor.
  3. Manage equipment data, manufacturer spare parts, and performance metrics to optimize cost reduction and efficiency.
  4. Research and implement new technologies or techniques to enhance Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
  5. Define equipment maintenance and administration for the cell, including in-line setups and diagnostic equipment issues.
  6. Drive Quick Kaizen, Kaizen events, and knowledge sharing to foster Continuous Improvement throughout the equipment.
  7. Optimize Maintenance resources per shift and days based on operational conditions, including volumes, shift patterns, maintenance agreements, and cost.
  8. Maintain Maintenance areas at 5's plant standards and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering-related areas.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in Process / Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance, preferably in the Automotive industry.
  3. Experience launching new projects and developing control over new equipment spare parts.
  4. Leadership skills and experience with automation or Industry 4.0 projects.
  5. Strong knowledge and management of Maintenance metrics TPM, MTBF, MTTR, and Availability.
  6. Fully competent in technical languages for automotive industry machinery.
