Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain effective safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage Environmental Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of environmental policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, near misses, and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure safety and environmental considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Develop and Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety and environmental data, including incident reports, compliance documentation, and training records.
- Industrial Engineer Degree or Similar: A degree in industrial engineering or a related field is required.
- 3+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in safety and environmental management.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex safety and environmental concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
