Product Development

As a Product Design Engineer III, you'll work primarily on bathroom fittings for Americas/EMENA. You'll collaborate with the Monterrey plant and external suppliers to generate new ideas for existing product lines or support process optimization to improve production efficiency. Your responsibilities will include creating 3D and 2D CAD drawings, working with cross-functional teams, and addressing design-related issues during project implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new fitting products, create 3D and 2D data in PTC Creo.
  • Define critical process/product parameters and test plans for new designs.
  • Perform design review activities with cross-functional teams, including DFMEA deployment and rapid prototyping creation.
  • Analyze and propose product improvement ideas through ECR/ECN process in the engineering data management system (Windchill) and present in board review meetings.
  • Follow up on the execution of new ideas generated for existing products to ensure timely implementation.
  • Work with manufacturing to provide support and solutions to daily problems during implementation.
  • Review supplier specifications and validate company specifications, approving or rejecting as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in manufacturing.
  • Extensive design experience in CAD software, PTC Creo.
  • Strong teamwork, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail and precision, strong observation, and analysis skills.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing processes such as brass casting, machining, die casting, and assembly procedures.
