**Job Summary**

As a key member of the Safran team, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations in a plant. This includes managing production schedules, workload capacity, and supervising the work of manufacturing production disciplines.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and ensure all quality-related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
  • Lead cost reduction efforts and process improvements to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead scheduling to ensure operations run according to established production schedules.
  • Lead the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resources.
  • Manage materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Establish performance objectives and lead cell performance and productivity.
  • Lead production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.
  • Meet customers' requirements and business objectives related to safety, quality, on-time deliveries, costs, and inventory in alignment with Site's goal deployment initiatives.
  • Lead the effort of all direct and indirect resources under responsibility, providing coaching and guidance towards achieving specific objectives.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement of areas under responsibility, applying six sigma principles.

**Requirements**

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance. Master's degree desirable.
  • Experience: Shall have applicable and detailed work experience (4 years minimum) in manufacturing/assembly operations, quality, engineering (design or manufacturing), materials/procurement.
  • Certifications: Certified Greenbelt, Blackbelt certification desirable.
  • Languages: English (Advance), French (basic) knowledge desirable.
